　台湾への武器輸出を決定した米国に対し、中国は抗議した。さらに、米国は中国に対して、台湾海峡安定のために必要な措置だとし、中国に冷静な対応をと呼びかけたが、中国は米国との軍事交流を中止すると発表した。
　中国は米国債への投資国だ。敵対的国債売却に出たら、米国財政は破綻するのは目に見えているのに。
